Wigeon counting

I am glad to say that despite the somewhat tricky nature of Wigeon counting I came to the exactly same number as Harry at Maes Llyn in the late afternoon - 215. No Teal though, but 9 Tufted Ducks, 3 Moorhens, 6 Canada Geese and a single Mallard. The Fieldfares were also still there and I estimated 60, but could not pick out any Redwings amongst them. Also a large flock of Fieldfares around the waiting room a bit later but they might have been the same birds. On the railway line a Song Thrush in full song and a Little Grebe in front of the waiting room.
